Grace Church strives to be an open and welcoming spiritual community to all believers—as well as to all seekers and questioners. Grace was founded in 1831 and has a long tradition of serving Hopkinsville in various ways—our Kindergarten, our Madrigal Feastes, our Lenten Preaching Mission. Our most foundational belief is in God’s unconditional love for all of creation and for all of humankind. That belief commits us to not only spread that message through words but also through social outreach programs that address the needs around us.
Our new Montessori-based Christian Education program for children (The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd) reflects our dedication to nurturing even our youngest members into developing a personal connection with God as reflected in knowing Jesus as the “good shepherd.”
Our labyrinth, which is located at 7th and Liberty, is an exact replica of the one at Chartres Cathedral in France and is a symbol which reminds us that we are always on a pilgrimage into a deeper relationship with God—one that will enable us to follow the path that Jesus calls us to follow.
