What about Communion?
We celebrate Communion, or Eucharist, at almost all our Sunday services. Baptized Christians, of any denomination, are invited to receive Communion with us. We gather at the communion rail, just follow your neighbor either in front or next to you. At the rail you may kneel or stand to receive. You will first be offered a Communion wafer, then wine. It is most proper to sip the wine from a common cup but many people dip their wafer into the cup. If you would like to receive a blessing instead of Communion, you are invited to come forward and cross your arms over your chest wile at the rail. If you prefer, you may remain in your seat to pray or reflect.
